In 1999, Groundrush Media – the creative vision of entrepreneur and radio personality Mike Johnson – officially launched. What began as a post-production audio company that produced everything from radio commercials to programming and sales promos for some of American’s largest broadcasters has since blossomed into one of Atlanta’s most recognizable creative media firms.
Due in part to the cutting-edge creative approaches Groundrush Media has become know for, the company quickly acquired a growing list of clientele. From advertisers seeking to reach their consumers in a new way, to business owners looking to revamp their advertising appeal, clients looking to stand above the competition turned to Groundrush Media. With early clientele ranging from the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and MLB’s Detroit Tigers to MGM Pictures, Universal Music and HBO, Johnson realized that the demand for a one-stop-shop was inevitable and in 2001, Groundrush Media re-launched as a full-service firm media firm.
Today, Groundrush, Inc. is a twenty-five person, full-service, turn-key advertising firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.
